BALLAST STEEL PUNCHINGS COARSE

Our coarse ballast steel punchings are made of steel and are often used to add weight to objects. This can include machines, but also heavy structures such as buildings and bridges. With a specific gravity of approximately 4,000 kg per cubic meter, the coarse punchings are ideal for use as ballast.

This material is considerably coarser than our traditional punchings, making it suitable for certain specific applications. For example, by placing these punchings over perforated materials, they can potentially assist with the drainage of water and condensation. Please note: the material is not galvanized, so be aware of possible rust formation.
