What can you do with our ballast materials?
Ballast material refers to any heavy substance used to provide stability or counterweight to other objects, such as ships or railway tracks. Without ballast, these structures would not be able to withstand the pressure of wind and waves or maintain balance during rough weather. In some cases, ballast can also offer insulation against extreme temperatures.
The ballast products in our webshop are often used for the stabilization of boats or ships, helping to increase their overall stability.

Scrap metal from the consumer
The supply and demand for scrap steel fluctuate daily. When demand is high and supply is low, the price of scrap metal rises. Since our ballast products are made from our own recycled metal, you’ll always get them at a consistently low price.

The ballast steel products we offer are created from the metals consumers drop off at our yard. There, all metals are carefully sorted and processed into new, usable products. We accept all types of metals—from copper to lead, and from old cables to aluminum. Thanks to years of experience and innovative processing methods, we give new life to these old materials—a great example being our ballast steel products.
